'S just the way our whole world works. People see your tribe before anything and decide your worth based on it. If you got horns or long knife-ears they think you're worthy of power and respect and you can get away with anything, no matter how rotten you are. If you look like Bas and me, they think you aren't worth the shite beneath their shoes.

It's difficult to change a world like that, but I think anyone who tries is more than admirable.
