... They started launching full-out attacks on the fortresses where the Kamunabi had sent us into hiding. Mine was the first, and I fled to Samura-san's to regroup with him. I died after the attack there.

I'm sorry, Yoji. At least... if we do get to return like they said, you'll be able to do something about it.

We were all sword users of repute from even before the war—he couldn't afford to give the blades to someone who didn't have the skill to wield it.

[matter of fact. uruha hardly thinks he's the greatest swordsman around, but he knows he's good with the status to go with it.]

And he chose those whom he trusted to represent his beliefs on the battlefield. Vanquish evil, and protect the weak.

Those are some strong ideals. Are those beliefs you live by, too?
