No, what's normal is probably the same as your average lifespan. If war weren't an issue.

I have... more different circumstances than most. Some of my friends's circumstances are even more interesting than mine.

Well... You're not too far off. That could be part of it. These ears were a side effect. I wasn't born with these.

I prefer to try to see them as they are. I don't think war makes anyone kind.... nor does it allow kindness easily.
