[ every now and then, elysia's skin either looks like crystal or like petals on a flower. she looks at wis'adel's new wings with some curiosity but doesn't comment on them (yet). ]

Far as I can tell, it's both, compared to everybody here. Nobody's ever heard of nomadic cities.

.... I know of nomadic tribes and such, but... actual cities?

If they couldn't move out of the way of a Catastrophe, they'd all just get wiped out eventually!

Usually they'll have a bunch of different segments. Helps if you can decouple part of the city instead of dragging the whole thing one way.

Originium storms. After one of those passes through, not only is the place destroyed, there's Originium crystals growing all over it-- and anybody who survived is probably Infected. Basically a total loss.

It sounds like it's so integrated in your way of life that it's pretty much normal. Is there anything to combat it?
